IPROMS 2009, the 5th Virtual Conference, of the EU-funded FP6 I*PROMS Network of Excellence on Innovative Production Machines and Systems, will take place on the Internet between 6 and 17 July 2009.
 

It will build on the success of its predecessors, which attracted authors from some 30 countries across five continents and some 4000 participants and guests from more than 70 countries, making IPROMS conferences truly global phenomena.

 

Through its web-based format, IPROMS 2009 will provide an unrivalled medium for researchers to disseminate and promote their work. For example, searches using Google for articles on topics related to IPROMS (such as Intelligent Optimisation, Intelligent Manufacturing, Reconfigurable Manufacturing, Intelligent Design Systems and Intelligent Planning and Scheduling Systems) regularly show papers by IPROMS authors among the top ten articles.
